Structured Daily Living

Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is a program that helps NDIS plan holders live independently in the comfort of their own homes. This program assists with daily tasks and household chores to allow participants to continue living independently.

Supported Independent Living is ideal for those who need help with cooking and bathing, medication management, housework or other daily tasks but do not require full-time nursing care. Supported Independent Living can help individuals remain in their homes and avoid moving into assisted living facilities or nursing homes.

Short Term Respite (STR)

Short Term Respite (STR) offers temporary accommodation and support for participants who need a short break from their usual living arrangement. This option provides a safe, supported environment while maintaining routines and continuity of care.

STR is suitable for participants who require short-term support due to planned breaks, transitions or changes in circumstances, while also offering families and carers peace of mind during respite periods.

Medium Term Accommodation (MTA)

Our medium-term accommodation (MTA) program offers a way for you to live in a house with other NDIS plan holders. It’s designed to help eligible people for the NDIS whose needs may not be met by traditional housing options.

This option offers a range of supports and services that fits your needs, including support workers with experience in disability services. You can choose the level of independence that suits you best – from living independently with some support or having more intensive support 24 hours per day.

Individualised Living Options (ILO)

Individualised Living Options (ILO) provide flexible, personalised living arrangements designed around your goals, preferences and support needs. ILO suits participants who want greater choice and control over where and how they live, without fitting into traditional group housing models.

Supports are tailored to the individual and may include assistance with daily living, routines, community access and capacity building. ILO works well for participants seeking independence with customised support in place.
