Bowling and BBQ

From Strikes to Sizzles

Recently, we hosted a much-anticipated bowling event at the Rosemount Bowl, where we were even fortunate enough to receive a special discount from the venue. It was a great opportunity for our participants to enjoy a day out and learn a new skill in a fun setting. While we were prepared for a larger group, only two participants made it to the bowling session. But what we lacked in numbers, we made up for it in spirit!

From the very start, our participants jumped right into the game, eager to learn how to bowl and to perfect their strikes and spares. It was their first time, but they quickly picked up the basics, cheering each other on with every throw. It was a proud moment, and their smiles said it all—they truly embraced the challenge and had a fantastic time.

After our exciting time on the lanes, we returned for an afternoon BBQ. And that’s when the real party started! Many more participants joined us, and the atmosphere shifted from a quiet morning to a lively afternoon. I was very happy to see everyone come together for the BBQ.

While the day might have started slow, it ended with a bustling crowd and a sense of connection that made it all worthwhile. From the learning moments at the bowling alley to the lively gathering at the BBQ, the event was a success in its own unique way. We’re grateful to Rosemount Bowl for their hospitality and the discount, and we look forward to more moments like these—where we come together, enjoy new experiences, and create memories, no matter the turnout.
